- Known diagnosis of Pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1A or type 1B
- Age greater than 5 years
You will not qualify if you...
- Significant kidney disease including any stage of chronic kidney disease, hypercalciuria, or kidney stones
- Severe heart disease
- Uncontrolled seizure disorder
- Peptic ulcer
- Liver dysfunction
- Bleeding disorder
- Allergy to theophylline preparation
- Muscle disorder
- Infection
- Any neurologic disease
- Use of chronic drugs that interact with theophylline
