It is a prospective, quasi-experimental observational study conducted over six months following ethics committee approval. The study focuses on children whose parents consented to participate, comparing their physiological responses and comfort levels during bathing. Children receive routine bathing care according to the clinic's schedule: traditional bathing once a week and wipe bathing every two days. Traditional bathing is done with water at 36-37 degrees Celsius, either in bed or in a bathtub. Wipe bathing uses 10 ml of chlorhexidine mixed in 200 ml of water at the same temperature. No experimental intervention is applied; instead, researchers measure and compare outcomes before and after each bathing method. Participants will be monitored for respiratory rate, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, mean blood pressure, and body temperature immediately before and after bathing. Comfort levels will also be assessed using a comfort scale. All bathing procedures are performed by the same specialist nurse to ensure consistency. The study measures changes at the 1st and 5th minutes of the bathing process, with data collected to compare the effects of traditional and wipe bathing on children's vital signs and comfort.
