Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age 18 years or greater
  • Medically fit for surgery
  • Diagnosed with a condition that can be treated with first MTP joint fusion based on clinical exam and radiographs
  • Failed non-operative treatments including orthotics, bracing, Tylenol, NSAIDs, or shoe modification
  • Surgery is only for isolated first MTP joint fusion
  • Able and willing to comply with follow-up schedule and requirements
  • Capable of providing informed consent

You will not qualify if you...

  • Age less than 18 years old
  • Surgery booking includes procedures beyond first MTP fusion
  • Unable to comply with follow-up schedule and requirements
  • Unable to provide informed consent
