Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Children aged 5 to 18 years with pectus excavatum deformity
- Children undergoing conservative treatment such as vacuum orthosis or exercise
- Families must sign a consent form agreeing to participate in the study
You will not qualify if you...
- Known cardiac disease
- Presence of an additional syndrome such as Marfan syndrome
- Cobb angle greater than or equal to 10 degrees
- Refusal to participate in the study
- Presence of mixed deformity such as pectus arcuatum
- Those indicated for surgery
