Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- 18 years of age or older
- Systemically healthy
- Have at least 2 adjacent implants on both sides of the lower jaw with less than 2 mm of keratinized mucosa on the cheek side
- Experience discomfort from brushing or have difficulty maintaining proper home care due to narrow keratinized mucosa
- Have a full-mouth plaque score less than 20%
- Have a full-mouth bleeding score less than 20%
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Tobacco smoking
- Uncontrolled medical conditions
- Taking medications that affect gum conditions
