What this Trial Is About

Researchers are evaluating the effects of Pilates compared to conventional therapy on posture correction, core strength, and flexibility in young adults aged 18 to 25 who have non-specific low backache. The study aims to determine if Pilates provides better improvements than conventional therapy in these areas. This clinical trial will enroll 50 participants and includes random allocation to study groups with assessor blinding to reduce bias. Participants will be randomly assigned to either a Pilates group or a conventional therapy group. The Pilates group will engage in a supervised mat-based exercise program focusing on controlled breathing and proper body alignment to improve posture, core strength, and flexibility. The conventional therapy group will receive a structured and supervised set of therapeutic exercises commonly used in clinical practice. Both interventions will be conducted three times per week for six weeks. During the study, assessments of posture, core strength, and flexibility will be conducted at the beginning and at the end of the six-week program by blinded assessors. Researchers will analyze changes in these measures to evaluate the effectiveness of each intervention. Participants are expected to attend all sessions over the six-week period, and data will be analyzed using statistical software to compare outcomes between the two groups.
