Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke
  • Stroke affecting the right hemisphere
  • Stroke occurred more than 7 days but less than 1 year ago
  • Aged between 18 and 75 years
  • Mini Mental Test Score of 24 or higher
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • History of recurrent stroke
  • Vision or hearing problems
  • Use of medication that affects cognitive function
  • History of epilepsy
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • History of cancer
  • Presence of a pacemaker
  • Metallic implants in the brain or scalp, including cochlear implants
  • History of dementia before stroke
  • Presence of psychiatric or other neurological diseases
