Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients aged between 18 and 75 years diagnosed with chronic lumbar radiculopathy based on history, physical exam, lumbar MRI, and EMG
- Patients presenting to outpatient clinic for physical therapy without contraindications
- Patients who provide informed consent to participate
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with thermoregulation disorders or sensory deficits
- Patients with lesions impairing skin integrity
- Patients with decompensated heart failure
- Patients with advanced heart, liver, or kidney failure
- Patients with advanced, uncontrolled peripheral venous insufficiency
- Patients with history of epilepsy or seizures
- Patients who are pregnant, have malignancy, or recent surgery
- Patients in acute exacerbation of rheumatic diseases
- Patients with severe anemia
- Patients with tuberculosis
- Patients with febrile infectious diseases
- Patients with bleeding disorders
- Patients who had regular balneotherapy in last three months
- Patients with polyneuropathy or peripheral nerve damage
- Patients with muscle weakness detected in exam
- Patients with prostheses
- Patients with history of lumbar surgery
