The trial investigates how aerobic exercise affects women during the different phases of the menstrual cycle, which ranges from 21 to 35 days and includes phases such as menses, follicular, ovulation, and luteal. It focuses on women aged 18 to 25 and aims to study perceived exertion, performance, and menstrual-related behavior across these phases. The study includes 42 physically active women and considers symptoms like cramps that some experience during menstruation. Participants are divided into two groups of 21 each. Group A, the control group, receives education and self-management guidance including information on physical activity benefits and self-care, combined with walking sessions three times a month lasting 30 to 45 minutes at mild to moderate intensity. Group B, the intervention group, performs aerobic exercises such as treadmill walking at moderate intensity for 15 minutes per session, stationary bicycling starting gently for 10 minutes monthly, and running at low intensity for 10 to 15 minutes per mile, also three times monthly. Participants are assessed using the Borg scale for perceived exertion, the Berg balance questionnaire for performance, and a menstrual stress questionnaire to monitor behavior. Data are collected from gyms using non-probability convenience sampling and analyzed with SPSS software. Outcome measures include vertical jump test and heart rate at baseline and after four weeks, with monitoring of symptoms, exercise response, and behavior throughout the study.
