Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Male, aged between 18 and 30 years
  • Body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 29.9 kg/m2
  • Physically active according to the international physical activity questionnaire
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Sedentary or insufficiently active individuals according to the IPAQ questionnaire
  • Those with cardiorespiratory, neurological, renal, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal disorders or other impairments preventing procedures
  • Smokers or alcohol drinkers
  • Users of medications influencing the autonomic nervous system
  • Resting systolic blood pressure greater than 130 mmHg
  • Resting diastolic blood pressure greater than 85 mmHg
