Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male, aged between 18 and 30 years
- Body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 29.9 kg/m2
- Physically active according to the international physical activity questionnaire
You will not qualify if you...
- Sedentary or insufficiently active individuals according to the IPAQ questionnaire
- Those with cardiorespiratory, neurological, renal, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal disorders or other impairments preventing procedures
- Smokers or alcohol drinkers
- Users of medications influencing the autonomic nervous system
- Resting systolic blood pressure greater than 130 mmHg
- Resting diastolic blood pressure greater than 85 mmHg
