Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Post stroke patients 6 to 12 weeks after stroke
- Spasticity less than 2 on the Modified Ashworth Scale
- First ever stroke
- Normal cognition with Montreal Cognitive Assessment score above 24
- Able to provide informed consent
- Hemiparesis with arm motor deficit assessed by NIH Stroke Scale above 1
You will not qualify if you...
- History of significant neurological or orthopedic disorders other than stroke affecting upper limb recovery
- Altered state of consciousness, severe aphasia, or severe cognitive deficit
- Severe traumatic or rheumatic pathologies or severe pain in affected arm (pain score above 5 on visual analog scale)
- Presence of active pacemakers or other active implants
