Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Systemically healthy
  • Aged 11 to 14 years
  • Have permanent dentition
  • No need for endodontic or restorative dental treatment
  • Have gingivitis with gum inflammation (for gingivitis group)
  • Periodontally healthy (for healthy group)
  • Have verbally and in writing agreed to participate and willing to attend follow-up visits regularly
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Need for endodontic or restorative dental treatment
  • Systemic health problems
  • Do not provide verbal or written consent to participate
