Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 50 and 65 years
- Male or female
- Ischemic stroke occurred 3 to 6 months ago (sub-acute phase)
- Hemiplegia affecting the upper limb
- Modified Ashworth Scale score less than 2 for upper limb
- Mini Mental State Score greater than 25
You will not qualify if you...
- Recurrent stroke or stroke affecting both sides
- Cognitive or speech impairment
- Presence of pacemaker or contraindications to NMES
- Uncontrolled severe medical conditions such as extreme cardiac diseases
