The goal of this interventional study is to test effects of spinal cord stimulation in patients receiving treatment for their chronic pain. Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients older than 18 years with spinal cord stimulation implanted to treat chronic pain
- Patients able to consent and cooperate with the study
- Use of continuous paresthesia-free spinal cord stimulation for at least 6 months before participation
- Pain score of 7 or less on a 0-10 scale in the most painful area treated with spinal cord stimulation at inclusion
- Patients not receiving other neuromodulation treatments
- No changes in pain-related medication during the last 30 days (as needed medication allowed)
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients receiving other neuromodulation treatments
- Patients who have changed their pain-related medication within the last 30 days, except for as-needed medication
