Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 80 years
- Classified as ASA class I to III
- Scheduled for elective thoracic surgery for primary lung tumors under general anesthesia
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of mental disorders
- Poor liver function
- Pregnancy or lactation
- Morbid obesity
- Allergy to any study drugs
- Recurrent tumor or repeat surgery
- Biopsy cases only
- Incomplete outcome data
- Palliative treatment after surgery
- Treatment for other malignancies at the same time
- Emergency surgery
- Presence of other malignant tumors
- Use of combined propofol with inhalation or other anesthetics like ketamine or dexmedetomidine
- Diagnosed benign lung tumor or metastatic lung tumor
