Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 70 years
- Diagnosis of complex regional pain syndrome type 1 after distal radius fracture
- Fracture treated conservatively with splint or cast
- Patients who applied to AFSU Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic
- Diagnosis based on Budapest diagnostic criteria for CRPS Type 1
You will not qualify if you...
- Other orthopedic fractures like ulna or carpal bone fractures
- Other system injuries
- Surgically treated distal radius fractures
- Previous surgery on the same upper extremity
- Nerve, tendon, or artery injuries in the affected area
- Other neurological, orthopedic, or rheumatological problems affecting the same arm
- Serious cardiovascular disease
- Active infections, dermatitis, skin diseases such as pemphigus, or febrile illnesses
- Presence of a fixed catheter in the treatment area
- Impaired temperature sensation in the area
