Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Female patients diagnosed with stage I to III breast cancer
- Age between 18 and 75 years old
- Planned to receive 4 cycles of taxane chemotherapy
- No neurostable drugs taken within the past three months
- Voluntary participation with signed informed consent form
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous acupuncture treatment
- Local infection at or near the acupuncture site unsuitable for acupuncture
- Platelet count less than 50,000/µL
- Existing chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy of grade 1 or higher
- Peripheral neuropathy or neuropathic pain caused by diabetes or HIV-related factors
