Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults 18 years or older
- Unilateral upper or lower extremity lymphedema with limb volume greater than 5%
- Body mass index (BMI) of 23 or higher
- Oncology clearance if there is a history of cancer
You will not qualify if you...
- Moderate to severe venous insufficiency
- Current use of GLP-1 receptor agonists
- Known intolerance or adverse effects to GLP-1 receptor agonists
- Medical conditions or history contraindicating GLP-1 receptor agonists, such as MEN syndrome or thyroid cancer history
