Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants aged 16 to 65 years
- Acute traumatic injuries below the elbow
- Employed or functioning as active housewives before the injury
- Palestinian Arabs living in the West Bank
You will not qualify if you...
- Drug or alcohol abuse
- Central nervous system lesions
- Psychiatric, cognitive, or developmental disorders
- Bilateral hand injuries
- Hand burns
- Rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis
- Brachial plexus lesion
- Shoulder or elbow problems
- Complex regional pain syndrome
- Surgery during the study period
- Non-traumatic hand injuries such as tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, De Quervain's disease, or Mallet finger
