Total Duration
Researchers are evaluating the effectiveness of vonoprazan-based dual and triple therapies compared to proton pump inhibitor (PPI) based triple therapy for treating patients with Helicobacter pylori infection who have not received prior treatment. The study is conducted by Sohag University and aims to determine which treatment best eradicates this infection in naive patients. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: vonoprazan-based dual therapy, vonoprazan-based triple therapy, or PPI-based triple therapy. Each therapy is designed to eliminate Helicobacter pylori infection, and the study compares their relative effectiveness. Treatments will be administered according to defined protocols for each group. During the study, participants will receive medical treatment and be monitored over time to assess the success of the eradication, with primary outcomes measured four weeks after completing therapy. The study involves follow-up visits to confirm infection status and track adherence to treatment. The total duration and detailed participant involvement align with standard clinical evaluation of treatment efficacy.
