Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients who meet four main clinical criteria for restless leg syndrome according to the international restless leg syndrome study group (IRLSSG): urge to move legs usually with paresthesia, symptom relief by leg movement, symptom worsening at rest or when lying down, and worse signs at night
  • Diagnosed with grade I or grade II COPD
  • Age between 45 and 55 years
  • Clinically and medically stable when attending the study
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • History of deep venous thrombosis
  • History of bleeding disorders
  • Have an implantable device like a pacemaker
  • Recent infected wound
  • History of allergic response to electrodes, gel, or tape
  • Currently participating in any other exercise program
  • Loss of sensation or numbness
