Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 18 years or older
- Reside in the United States
- Self-reported BMI of 25 or higher
- Currently engage in less than 60 minutes of structured physical activity per week
- Own a personal smartphone device
- Live in an area with Internet or Wi-Fi during the study
- Able to speak and read English
- Interested and willing to start a physical activity program
- Willing to wear a Fitbit Versa smartwatch continuously during the study
- Able to read small font on a smartwatch screen without glasses or willing to carry reading glasses during activity
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to provide informed consent due to cognitive disability
- Unable to participate in key treatment parts, including medical conditions preventing physical activity or use of the smartwatch
- Currently pregnant
- Referred to the study by another participant or from Reddit
