Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Definite diagnosis of Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis
- For Crohn's disease, at least 2 of these criteria must be met for at least 2 months: clinical history of abdominal pain, weight loss, malaise, diarrhea, or rectal bleeding; endoscopic signs like mucosal cobblestoning or fistula; radiologic evidence of strictures or ulcers; surgical findings such as bowel wall thickening or lymph node changes; pathological signs of inflammation or granulomas
- For ulcerative colitis, all 3 criteria must be present: typical diarrhea or blood and pus in stool for over 4 weeks; characteristic colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy findings without rectal sparing; biopsy showing inflammation

- Diagnosis of unclassified inflammatory bowel disease
- Belonging to an ethnic group other than Korean
