Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 65 18 years
- Abdominal pain lasting at least 3 months with a pain score of 65 3, with or without narcotic use
- Diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis confirmed by endoscopic ultrasound showing 65 5 features
- No other cause identified for abdominal pain
You will not qualify if you...
- Younger than 18 years old
- Previous endoscopic ultrasound-guided celiac plexus block
- Use of anticoagulants that cannot be stopped for the procedure
- Allergy to bupivacaine or triamcinolone
- Unable to provide consent or obtain consent from a legally authorized representative
- Pregnant woman with intrauterine pregnancy
