Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patient with chronic periodontitis aged between 30 and 50 years
- Patients having 20 or more teeth
- Patients with radiographic evidence of bone loss in at least two teeth
- Patients who are generally healthy
- Patients with localized pockets with probing depth of 5 mm or less
- Patients who are cooperative and able to attend regular follow-up visits
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients who have received any surgical or nonsurgical therapy in the past 6 months
- Pregnant or lactating females
- Use of systemic antibiotics in the past 6 months
- Patients not willing to give written informed consent
