Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age between 20 and 70 years
  • Bone width less than 4 mm
  • Vertical bone height less than 9 mm
  • Neighboring teeth are periodontally healthy
  • Patients have a stable vertical bite
  • Good oral hygiene with plaque control record under 25% and bleeding on probing under 25%
  • Ability to understand and commit to post-operative care and study follow-up
  • Good general health, including well-controlled systemic diseases
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Presence of pathological lesions like abscess, cyst, or acute infection at the defect site
  • Systemic diseases affecting bone metabolism
  • Uncontrolled diabetes
  • Current or recent chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment
  • Poor oral hygiene after hygiene phase (plaque control record over 30%) or active periodontal disease
