Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 20 and 70 years
- Bone width less than 4 mm
- Vertical bone height less than 9 mm
- Neighboring teeth are periodontally healthy
- Patients have a stable vertical bite
- Good oral hygiene with plaque control record under 25% and bleeding on probing under 25%
- Ability to understand and commit to post-operative care and study follow-up
- Good general health, including well-controlled systemic diseases
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of pathological lesions like abscess, cyst, or acute infection at the defect site
- Systemic diseases affecting bone metabolism
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Current or recent chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment
- Poor oral hygiene after hygiene phase (plaque control record over 30%) or active periodontal disease
