Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score between 3 and 8 points
- Loss of consciousness lasting more than 6 hours or coma lasting more than 6 hours within 24 hours after injury
You will not qualify if you...
- Alcohol consumption or substance abuse during or within the previous 24 hours
- History of traumatic brain injury, MRI contraindication, penetrating brain injury, psychotropic substance use, spinal cord injury, positive neurological examination, or multifunctional disorder
