Researchers will analyze the ultrasound images and dental findings to compare the two groups. The primary measurement is the thickness and internal band visibility of the masseter muscle. Secondary measures include occlusion and molar classification, dental health, presence of mouth breathing, and bruxism. The study will take place over the course of the participation visit with no additional treatment or long-term follow-up.

  • Children without any systemic disease
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Children with a history of surgery for adenoid hypertrophy
  • Children who are uncooperative during clinical examination
  • Children with syndromes involving the maxillofacial region
  • Children with multiple missing teeth
