Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patient treated with pharmacological androgen deprivation therapy for prostate cancer for more than 26 weeks
  • Performance index (WHO): 0 or 1
  • Patient able to understand the information related to the study, to read the information leaflet and having consented to participate in the study
  • Patient benefiting from a social security scheme
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Weight 130 kg or more
  • Vegetarian diet
  • Other associated neoplasia
  • Patient who has undergone bilateral orchiectomy
  • Painful bone metastases or risk of fracture
  • Anemia (hemoglobin less than 10 g/dL)
  • Thrombocytopenia (platelets less than 50 G/L)
  • Renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 60 mL/min or albuminuria greater than 30)
  • Patient planning to travel more than 4 weeks continuously in the next 52 weeks
  • Absolute contraindication to physical training (e.g., musculoskeletal, cardiovascular or neurological disorders) as determined by a specialist
  • Contraindication to use of neuromuscular electrostimulation device or impedance meter, including acute infectious disease, fungal infection, dermatitis, unbalanced arrhythmia, epilepsy, active implantable device (pacemaker, heart artificial, prosthesis with electromagnetic system), open wound
  • Supervised sports activity at bodybuilding or muscle strengthening level or higher
  • Protected adult under guardianship, curatorship, or deprivation of liberty
  • Participation in another research study or within exclusion period of another research
