Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 35 and 75 years at the time of administration
- Presence of a symptomatic degenerative meniscus tear not caused by acute trauma, confirmed by MRI
- Positive meniscal tests
- Knee pain intensity of 4 or higher on the Numeric Rating Scale
- Willingness to take part in physical therapy or light exercise
- Signed informed consent and understanding of study participation
- Ability to understand study conditions and commit to the entire study duration
You will not qualify if you...
- Traumatic meniscus tears
- Meniscal tears that require surgical treatment (FLAP, radial, or RAMP tears)
- Severe knee osteoarthritis
- Knee axial deviation greater than 10 degrees
- Meniscal or ligament surgery in the past 12 months
- Rheumatic diseases or chondrocalcinosis
- Signs of infection in the affected joint or skin diseases involving the knee
- Diabetes
- Blood clotting disorders or use of blood-thinning medications
- Use of intra-articular corticosteroids or hyaluronic acid in the past 12 months
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
