Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 40 years or older
- Established diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus
- Acceptable quality of cardiac imaging as determined by the study center
- Ability to have a polygenic risk score calculated
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to provide written informed consent
- Unwilling to be followed for serial evaluations
- Clinically manifest cardiovascular disease
- Significant coronary artery disease on CT (≥50% in left main artery or ≥70% in any epicardial artery) precluding masking for safety
- Unable to participate in or complete study assessments as judged by the investigator
