Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age 40 years or older
  • Established diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus
  • Acceptable quality of cardiac imaging as determined by the study center
  • Ability to have a polygenic risk score calculated
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Unable to provide written informed consent
  • Unwilling to be followed for serial evaluations
  • Clinically manifest cardiovascular disease
  • Significant coronary artery disease on CT (≥50% in left main artery or ≥70% in any epicardial artery) precluding masking for safety
  • Unable to participate in or complete study assessments as judged by the investigator
