Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- Body mass index (BMI) of 28 kg/m2 or higher, or BMI between 24 and less than 28 kg/m2 with at least one weight-related health condition such as high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol or triglycerides, obstructive sleep apnea, fatty liver, cardiovascular disease, or polycystic ovary syndrome
- History of at least one unsuccessful attempt at weight loss through diet and exercise
You will not qualify if you...
- Obesity caused by genetic mutations, other diseases, or medications
- Family or personal history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2
- History of moderate to severe depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other severe psychiatric disorders
- History of organ transplantation (except corneal transplant) or planned organ transplantation
- Plans to quit smoking during the study period
- Allergic to multiple medications or foods, or known allergy to RAY1225, GLP-1 receptor agonists, or related drugs
