Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Kidney transplant follow-up at Rouen University Hospital
- Clinico-biological intolerance to anticalcineurins defined by GFR < 25 mL/min and/or water and sodium overload justifying prescription of loop diuretics and/or post-transplant diabetes and/or resistant hypertension requiring at least 3 antihypertensive treatments including a thiazide diuretic to reach blood pressure ≤ 140/90 mmHg
- Graft biopsy within 3 months showing fibrous endarteritis ≥ 2 or arteriolar hyalinosis ≥ 2
- Collegial validation for starting belatacept combined with 3-month oral valganciclovir antiviral prophylaxis
- No contraindication to belatacept
- Never having received belatacept before
- Positive CMV serological status
You will not qualify if you...
- Symptomatic infection
- Pregnant, breastfeeding, or lacking proven effective contraception
- Person deprived of liberty by administrative or judicial decision or under legal safeguard, sub-tutorship, or curatorship
- Currently participating in another therapeutic trial or participated in one within the past month
