Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Female
- 21 years of age or older
- Stage I-III breast cancer regardless of hormone receptor or HER2 status (primary cohort)
- Completed surgery
- Completed adjuvant chemotherapy if indicated (primary cohort)
- Reported fatigue with a score of 4 or higher on a one-item fatigue scale
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Willing to provide informed consent
- For exploratory cohort: Stage IV breast cancer
- Currently receiving systemic therapy (e.g., endocrine therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy) (exploratory cohort)
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnant or lactating
- Presence of dementia or major psychiatric disease
- Medically unsuitable for low to moderate intensity exercise
- Unable or unwilling to participate in tele-counselling sessions
- Uncontrolled or undiagnosed pain
- Low blood counts: hemoglobin <8.0, platelets <50,000, absolute neutrophil count <1
- Electrolyte imbalances: potassium <3.0, sodium <130
- Cardiovascular diseases not cleared by a cardiologist, including low ejection fraction, uncontrolled arrhythmias, severe coronary artery or valvular disease, uncontrolled hypertension
- Active infection
- Currently engaged in moderate to vigorous physical activity
