Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) or Becker Muscular Dystrophy (BMD) confirmed by genetic testing, or be a control subject without muscular dystrophy by history
- Able to provide informed consent or assent to participate in the study
- Males aged 5 years and older with DMD or BMD
- Males and females aged 18 years and older without muscular dystrophy
You will not qualify if you...
- Medical history of immunosuppression, blood clotting disorders, liver or kidney disease, HIV, or hepatitis B or C
- Use of anti-platelet drugs within 7 days before blood draw
- Use of anticoagulants within 60 days before blood draw
- Unable or unwilling to provide written informed consent
