Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Intended to be treated with the FARAPULSE2 Pulsed Field Ablation system for cardiac tissue ablation based on physician's judgment and hospital standard of care
- Willing and able to provide informed consent
- Willing and able to participate in all study-related tests at an approved clinical center
- Age 18 years or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Current interatrial baffle or patch
- Known or suspected atrial myxoma
- Myocardial infarction within 14 days before enrollment
- Recent cerebral vascular accident (within 30 days before enrollment)
- Unable to tolerate anticoagulation therapy
- Active systemic infection
- Presence of known atrial thrombus
- Known inability to obtain vascular access
- Pregnant or planning to become pregnant
- Atrial fibrillation due to reversible or non-cardiac causes such as electrolyte imbalance, thyroid disease, or alcohol
- Any prosthetic heart valve, ring, repair, or balloon aortic valvuloplasty
- Contraindication to invasive electrophysiology procedure due to risks such as recent cardiac surgery or congenital heart disease
- Life expectancy of 1 year or less as assessed by investigator
- Currently enrolled in another investigational study or registry that interferes with this study, except mandatory governmental or purely observational registries
