Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male or female residents over 75 years old living in a care facility for dependent elderly people for at least 3 months
- Presenting at least one of the following: unintentional weight loss ≥ 5% in 1 month, involuntary weight loss ≥ 10% in 6 months or compared to usual weight or weight at entry to the facility, or confirmed sarcopenia based on dynamometer and calf circumference or impedancemetry criteria according to gender
- Loss of autonomy according to the Tully scale less than 12/18 with a score of 2 or 3 on the item "Able to bite, chew, swallow without making false routes"
- Person who has given free, informed, and express consent
- Person affiliated with a social security scheme
You will not qualify if you...
- Protected persons under legal safeguard of justice
- Swallowing disorder contraindicating hand-eating meal texture
- Lack of motor skills in both hands
- Specific diets such as pleasure diet, salt-free, sugar-free, fiber-free, or artificial nutrition
- Wearing a pacemaker
