Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosed with an oncological disease according to the International Classification of Childhood Cancer
- Planned or started anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and/or surgery) or connected to Paediatric Oncology Centre Mainz for aftercare
- Assessed by treating team as suitable to participate, considering medical and psychological reasons
- Provided informed consent or assent to participate
- Not in a terminal phase of disease
You will not qualify if you...
- Assessed by treating team as unsuitable to participate due to medical or psychological reasons
- Did not provide written informed consent (for patients 16 years or older) or legal guardians do not consent for minors
- Insufficient knowledge of German or English to complete consent and interviews
- Currently in a terminal phase of the disease
