Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Recent start of methadone or buprenorphine treatment at a clinic or program within the past year
  • Eligible for MRI scanning
  • Ability to commit to study visits
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Current acute psychosis, mania, or suicidal ideation with intent as assessed by SCID-5
  • Current intoxication or acute withdrawal preventing participation based on observation, breathalyzer, and SOWS assessment
  • Severe cognitive impairment indicated by PROMIS Cognitive Function tscore below 30 or during consent process
  • Past or present intellectual disability, developmental disorder, or neurological disease
  • Head trauma with loss of consciousness longer than 30 minutes
  • Organ dysfunction or unstable or untreated medical conditions interfering with study participation
