Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Liver biopsy proved chronic hepatitis B and/or nonalcoholic fatty liver disease at baseline
- Chinese ethnicity
- Follow-up duration greater than 12 months
You will not qualify if you...
- Other liver diseases
- Secondary causes of hepatic steatosis
- Alcohol abuse
- Liver cirrhosis, cirrhosis related complications, or hepatocellular carcinoma at baseline
- Malignancy
- History of liver transplantation
