Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults of both sexes
- Diagnosis of type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus
- Residence within the catchment area of the Family Health Units
- Availability to participate in the intervention at the established group time
You will not qualify if you...
- Clinical diagnosis of dementia
- Inability to provide reliable and consistent information
- Receiving physiotherapy during the intervention period
- Active foot ulcer or major vascular complications
