Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age > 18 years, no upper age limit
- Karnofsky Performance Score > 50 points
- Expected survival > 3 months
- 1-10 cerebral metastases of metastatic solid cancer
- Indication for local radiotherapy
- Ability to understand the protocol and provide informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Whole brain radiotherapy within 6 weeks before starting stereotactic radiotherapy or planned after
- Prior irradiation of the cerebral metastasis to be treated in the study
- Significant overlap of prior radiation fields with the treated metastasis
- Metastasis located in the brainstem
- Contraindication for cerebral MRI
- Treated metastasis not visible in contrast-enhanced T1 MRI
- Pregnant or lactating women
- Abuse of illicit drugs, alcohol, or medication
- Inability or unwillingness to follow the study protocol
- Participation in another clinical trial
