Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Inpatients or outpatients aged 18 years or older
  • Able to provide informed consent
  • Undergoing bronchoscopy for diagnosis or staging as part of standard care
  • Small biopsy samples collected by EBUS or conventional transbronchial needle aspiration or transbronchial biopsy outside of research purposes
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Standard contraindications to bronchoscopy such as bleeding disorders
  • Use of antiplatelet or anticoagulant medications
  • Severe respiratory failure or clinical instability
  • Pregnancy
