Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Inpatients or outpatients aged 18 years or older
- Able to provide informed consent
- Undergoing bronchoscopy for diagnosis or staging as part of standard care
- Small biopsy samples collected by EBUS or conventional transbronchial needle aspiration or transbronchial biopsy outside of research purposes
You will not qualify if you...
- Standard contraindications to bronchoscopy such as bleeding disorders
- Use of antiplatelet or anticoagulant medications
- Severe respiratory failure or clinical instability
- Pregnancy
