A Functional Near- Infrared Spectroscopy Study on the Brain Activation Characteristics of Stroke Patients During Mirror Movement
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosed with cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage by CT or MRI according to Chinese cerebrovascular disease guidelines
- Experienced first stroke
- Muscle strength of affected finger flexor and extensor muscles is grade 1 or less
- Right-handed
- Muscle tone at Ashworth level 2 or below
- Stroke occurred within the past 6 months and condition is stable
- Age between 18 and 75 years old
- Normal or corrected vision and hearing
You will not qualify if you...
- MMSE score less than 20 or severe memory, communication, or speech comprehension disorders
- Unable to cooperate with examinations and treatments
- History of epilepsy
- History of previous stroke, traumatic brain injury, or brain tumor
- Peripheral nervous system injuries unrelated to stroke
- Visual spatial impairments such as visual field defects or unilateral neglect
- Skull defects or metal bone plates
- Unsuitable for functional near-infrared examination
- History of intracranial surgery
- Lesions in the cerebellum or brainstem
