Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- For patients with Parkinson's disease: confirmed diagnosis per UK Brain Bank Criteria and Hoehn and Yahr stages 1-3
- Ability to walk independently on a flat surface without assistive devices (Functional Ambulation Scale 653)
- Stable medication regimen during the past month
- Being in the "on" phase of medication
- For healthy individuals: no diagnosis of neurological or neurodegenerative disease
- Age between 45 and 70 years
- Willingness to participate at Biruni University Hospital and Biruni University
You will not qualify if you...
- Severe hearing or visual impairments
- Other neurological, cardiovascular, or orthopedic conditions affecting walking ability
- Additional neurological disorders such as dementia or cerebrovascular disease
- Education level less than 5 years
- Vascular problems affecting the lower extremities
- Not using a smartphone
