You may qualify if you...

  • Patients aged 0 to 18 years
  • American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status I-II
  • Scheduled for elective surgery at Peking University First Hospital
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Preterm patients
  • Height and weight not within standard ranges for respective ages
  • Surgery involving head or heart
  • Muscular, neurologic, or psychiatric diseases
  • Congenital anomaly or hereditary diseases
  • Medication abuse
  • Allergy to propofol, sevoflurane, ketamine, or beans
  • Refusal to participate by guardians
