- Patients aged 0 to 18 years
- American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status I-II
- Scheduled for elective surgery at Peking University First Hospital
You will not qualify if you...
- Preterm patients
- Height and weight not within standard ranges for respective ages
- Surgery involving head or heart
- Muscular, neurologic, or psychiatric diseases
- Congenital anomaly or hereditary diseases
- Medication abuse
- Allergy to propofol, sevoflurane, ketamine, or beans
- Refusal to participate by guardians
