What this Trial Is About

Researchers are creating and maintaining a collection of biological samples from patients with cerebrovascular diseases and stroke. This study aims to use these samples to better understand the causes and effects of these conditions by analyzing genetic, metabolic, and growth factor markers. The study is observational and focuses on building a repository that can support future research into patient outcomes and disease progression. Samples collected include blood, cerebrospinal fluid, tissue, and microdialysis samples. Along with these, detailed patient information such as age, gender, diagnosis, medical and family history, treatments received, radiology reports, and outcomes are recorded and updated during follow-up visits. The repository will help explore how biological factors relate to disease development, treatment response, and prognosis. Participants will be followed over time with clinical data collected at baseline and multiple follow-up points. Researchers will measure changes in functional and cognitive scales such as the modified Rankin Scale, NIH Stroke Scale, Barthel Index, and Montreal Cognitive Assessment test at baseline, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months. This ongoing data collection aims to track patient progress and link biological markers with clinical outcomes, helping to improve understanding of cerebrovascular disorders.
