Georgia Memory Net Anti-Amyloid Monoclonal Antibody Registry
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 50 to 90 years, inclusive
- Diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or mild Alzheimer's disease dementia with positive cerebrospinal fluid or amyloid PET
- Baseline cognitive assessments within past 3 months: Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score 22 or higher, Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score 16 or higher
- Independence in basic activities of daily living
- Functional Activities Questionnaire (FAQ) score 9 or less, allowing inclusion with lower cognitive scores if affected by language or other impairments
- MRI brain scan within the last year without exclusionary findings
- Normal blood tests including complete blood count, metabolic panel, B12, thyroid stimulating hormone, and coagulation profile
- Availability of informant, care partner, or family member for follow-up visits
- Agreement to undergo MRI, PET scans, APOE testing, and other clinical diagnostic requirements as per FDA labeling
You will not qualify if you...
- Contraindications to MRI
- MRI findings including acute or sub-acute hemorrhage, prior large hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, aneurysm, more than 4 microhemorrhages, superficial siderosis, or other findings posing risk
- Seizure within past 6 months or history of refractory epilepsy
- Unstable severe psychiatric illness within past 6 months
- History of bleeding disorders or abnormal coagulation profile (platelet count less than 50,000; INR greater than 1.5)
- Uncontrolled diabetes (HgbA1c greater than 9%)
- Uncontrolled hypertension
- History of unstable angina, heart attack, advanced heart failure, or significant conduction problems within past year
- End stage renal disease
- Active cancer treatment except maintenance therapies for cancer in remission
- Serious infections or systemic illness in past 30 days
- Immunological diseases requiring immunosuppression or related treatments
- Breastfeeding or females of childbearing potential not using effective contraception
- History of severe allergic or anaphylactic reactions to study drug ingredients
