Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18-45 years old
- Willing to participate and provide informed consent
- Diagnosed with gingival recession according to Cairo et al.
- Gingival recession of 1 mm or more
You will not qualify if you...
- Having systemic diseases affecting periodontal health (e.g., bleeding disorders, diabetes mellitus)
- Taking medications linked to gum enlargement (e.g., calcium channel blockers, immunosuppressants, anticonvulsants)
- Having habits like tongue thrusting or nail biting
- Presence of mobile teeth
- Teeth affected by trauma from occlusion
- Teeth with prosthesis
- Teeth treated with root canal therapy or endodontic involvement
- Currently undergoing or previously underwent orthodontic treatment
