Researchers will evaluate microvascular reactivity and eGC thickness at baseline, along with various blood markers related to oxidative stress and immune cell frequency. The study results aim to provide insight into endothelial dysfunction in CKD and identify new biomarkers. The total participation time involves this single laboratory visit for assessment and sample collection.

Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults with chronic kidney disease caused by high blood pressure, stages 1-2 and 3-5, with eGFR at least 90 ml/min/1.73 m2 or below 60 ml/min/1.73 m2, who are non-diabetic and non-smokers
- Adults with hypertension as defined by ESH2023 Guidelines without kidney damage (eGFR above 90 ml/min/1.73 m2), who are non-diabetic and non-smokers
- Healthy volunteer subjects without these conditions
You will not qualify if you...
- Kidney disease caused by any reason other than hypertension
- Endocrine, autoimmune, or inflammatory diseases that may affect kidney function
- Smoking
- Diabetes
